ITENE is a Research and Technology Centre of Packaging, Transport and Logistics, located in Valencia (Spain). It is constituted as a private association with non-profitable purposes on a national and international scale and is integrated with businesses, entities and institutions related to Packaging, Transport and Logistics.

ITENE has technological facilities covering over 7.000 m2 devoted to R&D activities, specialized for new packaging developments.
It takes part in European research projects both national and regional, independently or in collaboration with other entities. These research projects are aimed at improving business’ competitiveness and citizens’ quality of life; using sustainable resources and at the promotion of environmentally sustainable attitudes.
Today ITENE, a non-profit organization, has more than 300 organization and business associates and is currently working on more than 50 R&D projects.
